Application:Resorufin(CAS:34994-50-8) is an anionic tricyclic dye. Resorufin is used as a calibration standard for resorufin-derived enzyme substrates. It has pH dependent absorption and emission over the range of 5 to 9, exhibiting yellow fluorescence at pH 4.4 and weak orange fluorescence at pH 6.4. It is also the reduction product of resazurin in cells.
