Application:A colorimetric alkaline phosphatase soluble substrate, PNPP, Disodium Salt(CAS:4264-83-9) is the substrate of choice for use with alkaline phosphatase in Enzyme Linked Immunosorbant Assay (ELISA) procedures. The reaction with PNPP, Disodium Salt produces a soluble end product that is yellow in color. PNPP, Disodium Salt Can be used to perform kinetic and endpoint determinations. PNPP, Disodium Salt is also used as a phosphorylating agent in nucleotide synthesis. PNPP, Disodium Salt is recommended for use with pNPP Substrate Buffer (sc-296099). Also available in solution form: p-Nitrophenyl Phosphate 50X solution (sc-358718).
