Synthesis of CAS: 10288-72-9 6-HYDROXY-1,4-BENZODIOXANE

Conditions:

With potassium fluoride; 3-chloro-benzenecarboperoxoic acid In dichloromethane at 20℃; Cooling with ice;

Experimental Procedure:

The above (1) (2.7 g, 16 mmol) was dissolved in 230 mL of CH2Cl2 and cooled with ice water.To this solution, mCPBA (4.2 g, 24 mmol) and KF (1.4 g, 24 mmol) were added, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight.The reaction solution was filtered with n-hexane, and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure.The obtained residue was dissolved in MeOH (10 mL), 1N NaOHaq. (5 mL) was added, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight.1N HCl was added to the reaction solution, extracted with EtOAc, and the organic layer was washed with water and saturated saline, dried over Na2SO4, concentrated under reduced pressure, and then concentrated.The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (n-hexane: EtOAc = 3: 1) to obtain compound (2) (2.4 g, 98%).
