What are the applications of Polycarbosilane?
Mar 11, 2022
Polycarbosilane (CAS 62306-27-8) is a polymer with Si-C bond as the main chain, which is pyrolyzed into silicon carbide ceramics at high temperature.
It is mainly used as the precursor of silicon carbide fiber and silicon carbide ceramic matrix for the preparation of silicon carbide fiber and high temperature resistant composite materials.
It is used by relevant units in aviation, aerospace, nuclear energy and other fields.
