Application:CFSE(CAS:150347-59-4) is a cell-permeable amine-reactive fluorescent label for tracking cells for long periods. It has been used to track cell cycle division and immunophenotypic differentiation of haematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. It is non-fluorescent until the acetate groups are cleaved by intracellular esterases to yield the highly fluorescent fluorophore. The compound has also been used in T-cell proliferation assays. CFSE has been observed to fluoresce at a EX(max) of 495nm and emit at Em(max) of 519 nm allowing to also be used for flow cytometric evaluations.
