Introduction
Dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate, or DM for short, is a highly water-soluble liquid monomer with good adhesion.
It is used for automotive and architectural coatings, brighteners in latex paints, and cleaning in lubricating oils. And can be used as dispersants, water treatment aid, retention and drainage aid for papermaking, acrylic floor paint, can also be used as styling hairspray after copolymerization with vinylpyrrolidine, and demulsifier in water-based emulsion.
