Applications
Tetra-n-butylammonium chloride hydrate(CAS:37451-68-6) is used with phosphorus pentoxide for greener deoxychlorination. It is used as a phase transfer catalyst for the preparation of 2-(3-pyridyl)-1-methylpyrrole by the reaction between 3-bromopyridine and 1-methyl-2pyrrolecarboxylic acid.
