It is used as the internal release agent of synthetic rubber or natural rubber and lubricant to improve the processing agent of rubber material, giving products good luster.

Commercially available stearamide usually contains palmitamide, no hygroscopic, smooth and good, can make stone wax emulsion stability, can improve the dispersion effect of pigments, dyes, slippery and release. Therefore, it can be used as surfactant, fiber oil agent, release agent, lubricant of vinyl chloride and urea-formaldehyde resin, rubber compound, pigment ink and color crayon compound.
