Introduction

Calcium (2E,4E)-hexa-2,4-dienoate is white crystalline fine powder. Good thermal stability, no color change after heating at 105℃ for 90min. 

Slightly soluble in water. Almost insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol. Decomposes at about 400°C.

It is often used as a preservative, antifungal agent, etc.
