Tetraethylene glycol monododecyl ether (TEGDME) is a synthetic, non-ionic surfactant widely used in industrial and laboratory applications. It is a clear, colorless, and odorless liquid with a low vapor pressure and low toxicity. It is often used as a solubilizer, emulsifier, or wetting agent in a variety of applications, including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and food products.
