Monoester of PPG is a non-ionic surfactant, and it can also react with alcohol to form ether.
It is a solvent for vegetable oils, resins and paraffins, and is also used in the preparation of alkyd resins, emulsifiers, demulsifiers, lubricating oils and plasticizers.
