5-nitro-2 -(propylthio-) pyrimidine-4, 6-diol, also known as 4, 6-dihydroxy-5-nitro-2 -(propylthio-2) pyrimidine, is an intermediate of ticaggrel. Ticaggrel is the first reversible binding oral P2Y12 adenosine diphosphate receptor antagonist, which can significantly inhibit platelet aggregation induced by ADP and effectively improve the symptoms of patients with acute coronary heart disease.
