Applications

Nicotinic hydrazide(CAS:553-53-7) is used in hydrazone library formation. It is used to study the oxidation of isonicotinic acid hydrazide (ionized) by horseradish peroxidase. Nicotinic hydrazide is an inhibitor of peroxidase enzyme. It forms solid metal complexes having strong biological activity.
